JIM CERVONE
James N. Cervone, Jr. began his career as a golf architect in 1995 with the firm of Ault, Clark & Associates, directly after graduating from Penn State with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture. Jim established CERVONE Golf Design in 2002, and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he currently resides with his wife and three sons.
Jim is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), and has worked across the United States and mainly throughout the North Atlantic Region. During his career, Jim has been fortunate to travel the world and work on golf projects throughout China, the Caribbean, South Africa, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. With his extensive experience, Jim is familiar with all aspects of golf course architecture, and he has overseen a multitude of projects from new course design and construction to small scale in-house renovations. From consulting services, to design concepts, to construction documentation, to construction administration, Jim has provided all levels of golf course architectural services to his clients. Jim has even served as an expert witness on several golf related court cases.
